Steps:
–  Mix well cream of tartar, water, oil, salt and food color  and pour it on a saucepan
–  Place the saucepan on medium heat and allow it to warm
–  Allow the mixture to cool
–  Add flour
–  Mix and knead the mixture until it is smooth
–  Store in airtight containers
The cream of tartar is very important because it makes playdough last for six months or more. Ensure that you do not leave out this ingredient to add to the shelf life of you playdough. The oils help to ensure that the playdough does not dry out.
