Author Diane Wigstone, confirmed today that her book, “Hope for Hollywood: Reclaiming the Soul of Film and TV,” will be featured for sale during the Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah this week.
ÂI am thrilled to have my book available during the Sundance Film Festival, stated Wigstone, who visited Park City earlier this year. ÂI have a bit of a different perspective about how the entertainment industry can be changed, and I know my book can help Christians who want to see their moral values reflected in Film and TV. I really believe it is up to each of us to make a difference.Â
The Sundance Film Festival has been held in Park City for over 20 years and takes place this year from January 20 through January 30, 2005. SundanceÂs largest venue is the Eccles Center, is located at 1750 Kearns Blvd, with 1270 seats. The Mountain Vineyard Christian Fellowship Bookstore, which will be featuring Diane WigstoneÂs book ÂHope for Hollywood during the festival, is located just down the street at 1401 Kearns Blvd.
Wigstone, who has worked has worked in the Entertainment Industry in many capacities including as an Actress, Producer and Director, shared ÂAnother special thing about my book being at Sundance, is that Robert Redford, who founded the Sundance Film Festival, studied at the same acting school I did. For professional acting training, Wigstone attended school at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, California.
Wigstone, who is currently living in Texas, was just in Hollywood last week filming segments for the pilot TV show ÂHope for Hollywood which is currently in development. She also recently traveled to Greece where she was filming on location for a new romantic comedy movie she is producing.
ÂIÂm hoping that the copies of Hope for Hollywood will sell out at the Sundance festival, Wigstone laughed. ÂBut we have more in the warehouse. For more information about Diane Wigstone, and Hope for Hollywood visit: http://www.HopeForHollywood.com.
